The Samsung 6 Series TVs have a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a 100Hz “Motion Plus” motion engine.

The Samsung 7 Series TVs have a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 and the same 100Hz “Motion Plus” engine.

I few months ago I bought a Samsung LED tv, 55 inch, not this newest version, but still the picture quality is much better, plus it has an LED backlighting system to make things brighter and easier to see. Ive seen the 6 series and 7 series samung led tv’s in action and they have a fantastic quality to them, but the 7 series comes with extra features like the internet@tv which lets you access features such as twitter whilst still watching your favourite show! its definately the way forward!

LED technology is definitely the way forward. Plasma screens consume huge amounts of power, and LCD are better, but longevity is an issue with them. We are going to get great life expectancy, along with all the other benifits stated here, with LED’s so I know what my next purchase is going to be!

I am trying to look for a 40in. LED TV from Samsung. I cannot tell the difference between the UN40b7000/6000 and the LN40b7000/6000. Can anyone tell be the difference in terms of specs such as contrast ratio, 120/240hz motion engine. wpmozs last blog post..WP My Gang
