Nikon is one of the top electronics companies manufacturing digital cameras and camcorders. The makers are going to launch their eight new digital cameras that suit almost every individual.

The range of new Nikon cameras starts from S220, which costs around $150 to $160. These cameras may not have any new fancy gizmos incorporated, however you will have some useful features such as image stabilization, 3x zoom, 10 megapixels resolution and an LCD screen.

The next model is S630 for $270 for its 3-inch wide LCD touchscreen and 28mm lens. The touchscreen is used for controlling usual functions. The camera comes with four-way image stabilization (a normal stabilization with few tweaks in the software to obtain high shutter speed and captures more than one image in a fraction of second to select the sharpest image), 7x optical zoom, motion detection, red-eye reduction and many other features.

These new Coolpix cameras will be available in different ranges from $110 for L19 to $400 for Nikon Coolpix P90. However, this range is quiet confusing, as exact prices are still unavailable. The new cameras from Nikon are cheap enough in comparison to its rivals. In addition, the new cameras are quiet compact in size and tough enough for shocks.

The Coolpix P90 from Nikon will be available at $400. This camera offers Nikon’s Extra-Low Dispersion glass in its lens system. In addition, the camera has 24x optical zoom, which starts from 26mm to a far end of 624mm. The P90 is a 12-megapixel camera with 3-inch LCD screen and is able to capture 15 frames in one second to 45 frames per second.

The newer models of Nikon Coolpix cameras may make a change in the digicam market. What you need is to wait and watch.
