MacMall provides users with a one-stop online shop for all your electronic or gadget related needs. As the name itself indicates, they do stock all Apple items including software and other accessories compatible with that exclusive brand. However, they go a step forward stocking an extensive list of other well known brands such as Epson, HP, Microsoft, Logitech, Samsung, Nokia, Sony, etc.
Most customers are of the view that MacMall is a great place to shop for computer and computer related products for which the information provided on the website is better than that provided by competitors. In terms of pricing though, customers claim there isn’t much of a difference between MacMall and other such websites.
The ease of navigation on the website is one of the many pluses of this online store. The variety of products they stock and make available to buyers is another feature that receives positive feedback. The many options available to buyers in terms of shipping the products they’ve purchased and the timely fashion in which the products are shipped to the buyers are other positive points associated with the MacMall shopping experience.
MacMall provides customer service in the form of technical support as well as a section dedicated to answering FAQs. However, warranty related issues that can’t be resolved by the technical support team are often deemed to be manufacturer issues and customers are asked to revert to the manufacturer. All products come with information about the manufacturer that the customers are asked to keep safely for future reference. It’s with this feature that most customers aren’t pleased. The customer service provided by MacMall often receives very low ratings in contrast with such other features as ease of ordering, shipping, etc.
The website also provides rebate offers from time to time as a further incentive to buyers. However, most customers report a less than satisfactory rebate receiving experience. Many of these issues are related to conflicting information provided by salespersons as opposed to the information shared on the rebates page or the FAQs section. Customers are advised to keep an on the rebates page if they’re eligible for one and follow the instructions there for a smoother claiming experience.
By and large though, the good news for customers is that MacMall is concerned about its image and does try its best to rectify situations that come to their notice through the many online rating websites.
