Time Crisis 4

If you have been to an arcade before, you’ve probably seen, or even played Time Crisis before. If you haven’t, it’s basically a first-person shooting (FPS) game where the main controls are shoot and reload/hide. It’s really different from CounterStrike and other FPS games like that because it’s meant more for arcade than it is for consoles or computers. There’s no strategy involved, as far as I remember. All you do is shoot, and you can’t really make any choices. The game leads you where you need to go.

In Time Crisis 2 (I think?) they had many different playing modes. There was a single player mode, a 2 player co-op mode, a 1 player double gun mode, and some bonus missions, and guns to unlock.

As far as I know Time Crisis 4 is already out on arcade, as it was announced by Namco in the 2006 E3. But now I think they’re making a port over to next generation consoles, with some extra features for the playstation 3, such as the “Full Mission Mode”, which might actually allow you to move by yourself and require strategy (although I doubt it).

Check out the trailer. Although in my opinion the trailer looks like crap. I’m really not that excited for this one. Time Crisis 2 was fun but after you beat it there’s really nothing you can do with it, unless of course they add an online version. I’d rather play it as an arcade.
