What if we inadvertently made a commitment that is wrong or unethical and goes against our values system and conscience? Our Greatest Commitment is to reevaluate whether or not to go forward with it.

COMMITMENT to VALUES

Loyalties cannot be brough, they can only be earned. And to whom do we owe layalties? Is it to individuals or to organisations? The answer is none of them. We owe loyalties to values. Where the value system is conflicting, people cannot live in the same home or work in the same organization.

When a person makes commitment of loyalty to either an individual or to an organization, what is he really saying? He is saying ,”I stand by you because I believe in what you believe in.”

What if the person i am commited to becomes a drug dealer or a spy for an enemy country? Do I continue my support because I commited earlier? Absolutely not!! I am not commited to support unethical and Illegal behaviour.

Commitment not kept lead to:-

1)Broken Homes.

2)Abandoned children.

3)Poor relationship.

4)High stress levels.

5)Guilt.

6)Infulfilled life.

7)Loss of business.

8)Isolation.

9)Depression.

Make a Commitment and stay Commited.

There is not much difference between a normal person and a successful person, the difference is small but that seems big and makes a person big. Before I mention all the points I would certainly like to say The biggest difference is of carelessness shown to the work and responsiblity. We all have some weak points and on the other hand we also have some great strengths and we have to just take care that our weakness may not take over our Strengths.

The qualities that makes a person successful :-

1)Desire.

2)Commitment.

3)Courage to take Responsibilities.

4)Hard Work.

Becoming a winner is no baby’s work but becoming a loser is something anyone can do. Have you ever thought that what is the difference between a Winner and a Loser?

No?, then i am going to tell the difference in 20 simple points.

Winner Vs Loser

1)A winner is always a part of the answer, a loser is always a part of the problem.

2)The winner always has the program, the loser always has an excuse.

3)The winner says,”Let me do it for you.”; The loser says,”That is not my job”.

4)The winner sees an answer to every problem. The Loser sees a problem for every answer.

5)The winner says,”It may be difficult but is possible”; The Loser says ,”It may be possible but is too difficult.”

6)When a winner makes a mistake he says,”I was Wrong”; When a Loser makes a mistake he says,”It wasn’t my fault”.

7)A winner makes commitments. A loser makes promises.

8)Winners have dreams. Losers have schemes.

9)Winners say,”I must do something”.Losers say,”Something must be done.”

10)Winners are part of the team.Losers are apart from the team.

11)Winners see the pain. Losers see the pain.

12)Winners see possibilities. Losers see problems.

13)Winners see the potential. Losers see the past.

14)Winners choose what they say. Losers say what they choose.

15)Winners use hard arguments but soft words. Losers use soft arguments but hard words.

16)Winners make it happen. Losers let it happen.

17)Winners plan and prepare to win. The keyword is preparation. Losers always plan and prepare to copy the winners.

18)Winners stand firm on values but compromise on petty things; Losers stand on petty things put compromise on values.

19)Winners are like thermostat;Losers are like thermometers.

20)Winners believe in winning. Losers believe for them to win someone has to lose.

ÂÂ

You may think on the points that differentiate Winners and Losers and try to become Winners and try not to obey Loser’s characteristics.

What would happen if you rode your car with the brakes on? You’d never get full speed because the brakes would offer resistance. Your car would overheat and breakdown. If it didn’t break down , the resistance would strain the engine.

To get to your destination, you would have to make one of the two choices:
1)You would either press the accelerator and rick damage ,or
2) or release the car to go faster.

This analogy is a good parallel to life because many of us go through life with our emotional brakes on. What are the brakes ? They are the factors that prevent you from achieving success – fear , procrastination, lack of pride< and so forth. The way to release your your emotional brakes is by building a positive attitude and high self-esteem and by accepting responsibility.

Failure- 20 reasonswhy we don’t attain excellence .
There are twenty factors that can cause you to fail. By working to overcome these factors, you can release the brakes that are holding back your success.

1. Unwillingness to Take Risks.
2. Lack of persistence.
3. Instant Gratification.
4. Lack of priorities.
5. Looking for Shortcuts.
6. Selfishness and Greed.
7. Lack of Conviction.
8. Lack of Understanding of Nature’s Law.
9. Unwillingness to plan and prepare.
10. Rationalizing.
11. Not learning from past mistakes.
12. Inability to recognize Opportunity.
13. Fear.
14. Inability to use Talent.
15. Lack of Discipline.
16. Poor Self-Esteem.
17. Lack of Knowledge.
18. Fatalistic Attitude.
19. Lack of Purpose.
20. Lack of Courage.
