Hmm, I’ve been considering learning linux/unix, and this may be just the thing. I wish I could see some comments by people who’ve taken this course to see if its any good, though. Any idea if that’s at all doable?

While I haven’t taken the OST class on Linux/Unix, I’ve taken four or five other classes and was disappointed with all but one.

The books included with the classes were old and the technology taught was even older. I spent more time at http://www.w3schools.com than I did reading the coursework. The instructors ranged from indifferent to completely unprepared.
