Most individuals are looking for a notebook, which has the maximum features yet it is available at an affordable range. Professionals target their devices to carry out all their necessary utilities without much trouble. Simultaneously, general users look forward to a system having the capabilities of running recently launched tools. Dell Studio 15 is a recent consumer 15 inch notebook, which is adequate for both the categories of users to a great extent. Dell Studio 15 has more of an angular look with the presence of large side hinges that curve its screen to a sharper angle. Studio 15 weighs 6 pounds, which is on the higher side if you are always on the move. However, the model is available at around 6 pounds, if you are looking for the lower end of 15.4 inch scale. With a dimension of 14in x 10.16in x 1.25in, you can get around 3 hours of battery backup from the notebook functioning on full load, which is adequate for a midsize device.
Dell Studio 15 does not come with a LED display, but has the conventional 1024 x 800 XGA (1920 x 1200 is also available) TFT Matrix. This TFT display is bright at 200 nits and has a glossy finish for making colors pop, which is nice for watching movies. The notebook also has a 2.0 Megapixel camera, which can help you in web conference. Moving on to the keyboard of Studio 15, you should find the key size and spacing to be proper. Although there is a flex in the middle, still the keyboard is relatively firm to work on. Again, its keyboard has a backlight feature, which allows you to work in a darker space without little hassle. Touchpad gives you adequate cushion and travel along with quiet clicks. It is also supported with a backlight feature. Speakers of Dell Studio 15 are supported with in built subwoofers, which is adequate for listening music without much scuffle in the audio stream.

Dell Studio 15 has been provided with a Core 2 Duo T5750 processor from Intel. The processor works at a speed of 2 GHz and has a 2 MB L2 Cache with FSB working at 667 MHz. In terms of space provided in the notebook, you get a 250 GB hard drive, which is supported by a subsidiary memory of 3 GB RAM (DDR2 400 MHz). With this space and RAM speed, you can let your system through most recently launched utilities. Most of the high-end applications will be processed without much difficulty. The operating system used in the notebook is Genuine Microsoft Windows Vista Premium Edition. Again for Wi-Fi connectivity, the system follows the latest IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards.
At $899, Dell Studio 15 is adequate for users, who are looking for something extra at an affordable range. Although it’s not a high-end system, yet you will get the configuration necessary for running most recent software and applications.

The resolution of the display for this appears to be fine, and the CPU speed is one that will provide the consumer with a reasonable experience. The subwoofers that are built into the speakers on this are probably a bit small, but may provide a better sound.
