What is Our Greatest Commitment

What if we inadvertently made a commitment that is wrong or unethical and goes against our values system and conscience? Our Greatest Commitment is to reevaluate whether or not to go forward with it.
COMMITMENT to VALUES
Loyalties cannot be brough, they can only be earned. And to whom do we owe layalties? Is it to individuals or to organisations? The answer is none of them. We owe loyalties to values. Where the value system is conflicting, people cannot live in the same home or work in the same organization.
When a person makes commitment of loyalty to either an individual or to an organization, what is he really saying? He is saying ,”I stand by you because I believe in what you believe in.”
What if the person i am commited to becomes a drug dealer or a spy for an enemy country? Do I continue my support because I commited earlier? Absolutely not!! I am not commited to support unethical and Illegal behaviour.
Commitment not kept lead to:-
1)Broken Homes.
2)Abandoned children.
3)Poor relationship.
4)High stress levels.
5)Guilt.
6)Infulfilled life.
7)Loss of business.
8)Isolation.
9)Depression.
Make a Commitment and stay Commited.

You are absolutely right! You may have committed in the beginning thinking that the values were in line with yours but only to find out that things did not or are not working out that way. Perhaps the person or situation was tainted or their true motives were hidden. Your only recourse is to re-evaluate the situations and again commit to doing the right thing. If that means changing your original position then that’s what it takes.
