Making Professional Advertisement Banners

Advertising is an important part of any online business, and if your going to delve into the world of banner advertisements you need to learn how to make something that will get visitors to click. Here I will show you some basic techniques in creating professional banners. Coz a picture is worth a million words so itz best to make professional banner like below:

We will be creating a standard 468×60 banner in this tutorial, so create a new image with those dimensions, and start off by writing the title of your website in bold text toward the left of your canvas

Create a new layer[rectangle of 468x60] below your text layer, and produce a gradient of light blue-white, as shown below.

click your text layer to get a selection of your text. Now make a gradient to your text of light blue-dark blue as shown below:

Duplicate this layer[text], and choose Modify > Transform > Flip Vertically. This is going to be our text’s reflection. Move your duplicate layer just below your original text, and now instead of the light blue change it in to the backgroud color in the gradient. You should have something similar to mine by now.

Create a new layer and make a selection similar to the one below with your polygon lasso tools. Fill your selection with your light blue to dark blue linear gradient. Duplicate your layer and create a dropshadow by blurring the lower of the two with Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur.

Now a small polygon on the currnet one and draw a line just 2 pixels above this small polygon lke below:

Use your text tool to write something interesting about the product or site you are providing. To the left, use some bold orange text to write a short important phrase, and in the center use some white text to give you banner a bulk of information.
If you want to know how to make the $1 Here is the process, with the text tool type your price and make a border to it and make a gradient effect to the text[just like what i did in the image] and one more thing is :) if you want you can also make a border and thats it now your professional ad banner is ready :D

You can also do the same in PhotoShop too ;) and you are free to copy or share this post :)
