Yes wikipedia is going to launch a online search engine which Competes with Google search engine.The aim is create awareness in users on Wiki Power. Wikipedia has recently opened a Wikicamp in chennai, India.Shankar, who runs a web development firm, was an organizer of the recent Wikicamp-Unconference where all participants could interact freely in an informal session.Wikipedia blogger and editor Kiruba Shankar said that “founder Jimmy Wales is attending to this camp” and he also added that the present undergoing search engine will create awareness in user on wickiup and to provide better services to them.
